In this week’s episode, Archbridge Institute Director of Programs Ben Wilterdink talks with Emily Hamilton about America's housing crisis, why rents are so high in urban areas, and what states have been doing to solve this problem. Dr. Emily Hamilton is a Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Urbanity Project at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Her research focuses on urban economics and land-use policy. Dr. Hamilton has authored numerous academic articles and policy papers and her writing has appeared in USA Today, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times. She contributes to the blog Market Urbanism and received her PhD in economics from George Mason University.
