In this week’s episode, Archbridge Institute Director of Programs Ben Wilterdink talks with Gary Hoover about the nature of business, entrepreneurship, and how they have evolved over the past several decades. Gary is a business historian and entrepreneur. Among other businesses, Gary founded Bookstop, a bookstore chain later purchased by Barnes and Noble. In addition to starting multiple businesses, Gary is the author of several books including, Vision: Original Thinking for Business Success and The Lifetime Learner's Guide to Reading and Learning. Gary served as the first Entrepreneur-In-Residence at the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business, is the executive director of the American Business History Center, and serves on the Archbridge Institute’s advisory board.
